Getting started
Do I need Pilates experience?
No. If you're new to reformer, ask us about a beginner session before booking — we'll point you to the right class.
Which class should I start with?
Mat Pilates or a beginner reformer class is a gentle way in. If you're not sure, choose “Not sure yet” when you get in touch and we'll help you pick.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, close-fitting clothes you can move in. Avoid anything loose that could catch on the reformer's springs and straps. Grip socks are recommended for reformer classes.
What should I bring?
A water bottle, and a towel for hot Pilates. Everything else you need for class is in the studio.
How early should I arrive?
For your first visit, arrive about ten minutes early so we can show you around and set you up on the equipment.
Classes
What's the difference between reformer and mat?
Reformer classes use a machine with springs for adjustable resistance. Mat classes use your body weight on the floor. Both build core strength — many members do a mix of the two.
What is hot Pilates?
A mat-based Pilates flow in a heated room. The warmth helps muscles loosen and makes the session feel more intense. It's best once you're comfortable with mat work.
Is yoga suitable for beginners?
Yes. Instructors offer options for different levels throughout each session, so you can work at a pace that suits you.
I'm pregnant or have an injury. Can I join?
Please let us know before you book and tell your instructor before class. We also recommend checking with your doctor first, especially before hot Pilates.

Yes — Reform is the Pilates and yoga studio by Prestige. If you're already a Prestige member, ask us about your options.
